The Chevron Fire Department serves a refinery in Richmond, California with this EMERGENCY ONE platform quint. The unit can provide overhead cooling streams for a process unit fire and serve as a rescue device for a high-point anchor and to lower a litter patient. The four-square-mile facility employs 2,100 and manufactures all grades of gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, LPG, lubrication oils, and wax, according to Chief Anthony Semenza.
