Lion Apparel: Protective clothing component system designed so that outer shell, moisture barrier, and thermal liner work together to reduce water absorption and promote quicker drying. Outer shell choices include the water-resistant PbiT GoldT Plus, from Celanese and Safety Components Fabric Technologies, Inc., and Dupont FusionT, a blend of producer-dyed KevlarT and NomexT fibers finished with Dupont`s TeflonT F Firefighter PPE water-resistant coating after weaving. Available thermal barriers include Lion`s Glide IITM, Ara-FlowT, and Rebound SRS; moisture barriers include Slick 2000T, W.L. Gore`s Cross-tech, or breathable polyurethane.
