Introducing the First Responder for brush fires

Introducing the First Responder a compact Brush Fire Fighter newly developed for 2009. The First Responder uses industry-proven firefighting equipment mounted on a 5’6″ track crawler providing access through rough, overgrown, or swampy areas otherwise inaccessible by conventional ATV’S or brush trucks.

The operator and crawler are protected by heavy duty brush guards along with a ROPS / FOPS certified canopy and a durable undercarriage built for rugged terrain with steel reinforced low maintenance tracks.

Exclusive to the First Responder” is a 225-gallon poly water tank with five-gallon foam cell. An 18hp Honda engine, pump, and electric hose reel accepts up to 200 feet of hose. Fold down side rails allow firefighters sure footing while operating directly from the back of the unit. A front mounted remote controlled nozzle allows the operator the additional ability and protection to fight fire without exiting the operator’s seat.

A powerful diesel engine and two-speed transmission provides enough torque and horsepower to maneuver steep inclines and achieves a speed of up to 6.8mph. A rear-mounted, 9,000-pound winch removes the need for additional support equipment.

The First Responder tows easily on a custom low-deck, 12k trailer with surge brakes and easy fold down ramps for quick unloading. An optional GPS guidance system enables the operator to exit via the entrance route providing safe, secure evacuation of the operator and unit.

No more need to use tire mounted units better suited for road travel. The First Responder allows your department to fight brush fires with equipment designed for brush and rugged terrain. When brush fire strikes, the First Responder will take your department to the next level in firefighting.
