Splint Set

R & D Emergency & Safety Products, Inc. has introduced the Uni-Jus, a splint set that consists of two pivoting and sliding 19 x 4-inch acrylic supports that can be combined for lengths up to 36-inches.

Two Velcro strips, mounted permanently on the underside anchor the specially designed straps that can be wound around the limb at any desired point. Four straps varying lengths (color-coded for size) are supplied with each splint. A loop and lock method of securing the Uni-Jus eliminates bandaging or dual splint use. The injury site remains visible to the technician at all times. When necessary, the straps can be used for direct pressure to control bleeding.
