Suction tube caps

A new suction tube cap has been introduced by the Hale Fire Pump Company. The cap’s new sculptured design features distinctive concentrically machined circles resembling a target, according to the company.

Because each ring radiating from the center is machined five-thousandths of an inch lower than the previous ring, a cap placed facedown rests solely on the innermost three-quarter-inch-wide circle and suffers reduced surface scratching. The new chrome-finished caps will be made available in sizes of 4.5-, 5-, and 6-inch N.S.T.
