Columbia Southern University Joins NASPAA

Columbia Southern University (CSU) achieves another milestone as the online university recently joined the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA).

Setting the global standard in public service education, NASPAA is the membership organization of graduate education programs in public policy, public affairs, public administration and public and nonprofit management.

The agency has nearly 300 members, located across the U.S. and in 14 countries, who award degrees related to public policy, affairs and administration. CSU offers an online master’s degree in public administration with a general concentration and others in criminal justice administration and emergency services management. CSU also features an MBA with a concentration in public administration.

“We are very proud and honored to be a part of NASPAA which is such a respected entity in public service education,” said Robert Mayes, president of CSU. “This enhances the prestige of our MPA degrees for students and will further assist with their career success.”

As a member of NASPAA, CSU is eligible for accreditation of its MPA degrees by the agency, may establish an honor society for MPA graduates and other benefits. NASPAA’s twofold mission is to ensure excellence in education and training for public service and to promote the ideal of public service. To view CSU’s listing on NASPAA, visit the membership page.
