Firefighter Training Drill: Ladder Company Positioning

When it comes to ladder companies or truck companies, maximum capability is only possible when maximum position is achieved. This drill is a reminder of the importance of proper positioning along with some of the factors that must be considered to achieve it.

NICHOLAS MARTIN is a battalion chief with the Columbia (SC) Fire Department and a 20-plus-year veteran of the fire service.
