Factory Mutual awards $14,000 in arson grants
Recipients of the most recent Factory Mutual (FM) arson grants are the following: Beckley (WV) Fire Department, $700; Bucks County (PA) Fire Marshal`s Office, $2,500; Chula Vista (CA) Fire Department, $2,700; International Association of Arson Investigators (Maine Chapter), $1,000; Pewaukee (WI) Fire Department, $1,000; Sidney (OH) Department of Fire and Emergency Services, $1,300; Toronto (Ontario) Arson Task Force, $2,500; and Wisconsin Department of Justice, $2,300.
The grants will be used to purchase investigative tools, develop or host professional training programs, establish arson prevention programs, or aid juvenile firesetters.
