Drill of the Week: Gasoline Spill Response

A neighborhood gas station has reported a fuel spill from a car at the pumps and your company has been dispatched to handle the incident. Using your departments SOGs, review the possible actions and considerations that must be taken for this response. Though this may be viewed as a basic response by your department, many hazards may exist for it and must be considered in the development of your incident action plan.
