ALAN V. BRUNACINI, chief of the Phoenix (AZ) Fire Department, announced his retirement, effective June 30, 2006. He has been a member of the department since 1958 and has served as chief since 1978.

SCOTT WEISHAAR was named vice president of product management and marketing for E-ONE, responsible for helping the company improve its market share, product leadership, and brand image. Weishaar replaces Charles Chilton, who recently was promoted to vice president of development. Previously, Weishaar worked for Weldon Technologies. During his nine-year tenure with the manufacturer of fire truck custom lighting and electrical control products, he grew market share more than threefold.

STAN SCOTT is the new national sales manager-land mobile radio division for Kenwood USA. Scott has more than 20 years of land mobile radio communications business experience in regional and national sales management positions. He started with Uniden in 1984 and has held management jobs with Standard, Midland, Nextel and, most recently, Vertex Standard, where he was the national sales manager for the past five years.

OLGA CALEDONIA was named executive director of global operations for the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Caledonia has served as director of Latin American Operations since 2003 and will now manage all international offices. She established the first NFPA overseas chapter, the NFPA Colombia Chapter, in 2003, followed by chapters in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Argentina, and Puerto Rico. She oversees international regional offices in Mexico City; Paris, France; and China. She oversees licensing and translation agreements for more than 100 codes, standards, and reference publications printed in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, French, and Russian.
