Young Girl with Rare Disease Gets to Be Tennessee Fire Chief for Halloween

As a special Halloween treat, a young girl with a rare disease got the chance to be the Mt. Juliet (TN) fire chief for a day, according to a report.

WTVF reported that Gracie Duplisea, 7, suffers from a rare disease called “Prayder-Willie Syndrome,” which has affected her development, leaving her in a wheelchair.

Firefighters with the Mt. Juliet Fire Department decided to give her a special treat by naming her fire chief for the day.
