Firefighters Respond to Maplewood (NJ) Building Collapse

Update, Noon: NJ.com reports (http://bit.ly/1jASCkU) that one construction worker is dead and another seriously injured after today’s internal collapse at Coda Kitchen & Bar in downtown Maplewood.

Maplewood Deputy Fire Chief Joseph Callaghan said the collapse occurred from the first floor into the basement during installation of a staircase.
