Fire photographer Ian Kushnir shared some shots from the scene of a recent building fire in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.

The fire occurred on Ford Road between N. Lafayette and Kingsbury. Fire was reported in a commercial building, and North-end crews arrived to find heavy smoke from an upstairs apartment with people still inside.

Fire crews got people out, and firefighters confronted heavy fire coming out of the upstairs front windows. Crews attacked the fire from the rear, with Garden City Ladder 10 setting up ladder operations. Automatic aid from Garden City and Inkster responded to the fire scene. One civilian was transported to the hospital.
