>> The INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIRE CHIEFS (IAFC) swore in Oklahoma City (OK) Fire Department (OCFD) Chief G. Keith Bryant as its president and chairman of the board for 2014-2015. He will lead the IAFC’s 18-member board of directors, serving as its primary spokesman on national and international issues, testifying on behalf of the organization at congressional hearings, and serving as the representative dignitary. Bryant has served as chief in Oklahoma City since 2005. He started his career in the fire service in 1977 as a firefighter in the U.S. Army. During his 32-year career with the OCFD, he served in roles including dive team member and critical-incident stress-management peer counselor. www.iafc.org.
