A charity team has been organized to run the Chicago Marathon and raise money and awareness about The Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors. This year is symbolic because it is the first year for TEAM PHOENIX and because the Chicago Marathon will run on 10/10/10, during Fire Prevention Week.
The Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors is the leading national nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering anyone affected by a burn injury through peer support, education, and advocacy.
