The AirCal 2000™ is an electronic carbon monoxide and moisture monitor designed for use on new and existing high pressure breathing air compressors. This unit samples the air for high limits of carbon monoxide (CO) and moisture (H2O), as specified by NFPA 1901, revision 2003, for emergency fire apparatus. High levels of CO or H2O results in an automatic compressor shut down. Plus, an audible and visual alarm activates, and then the unit’s LCD display identifies the reason for the shut down. A sister unit, AirCal 1000™ monitors only CO.
