Woman Arrested After Stealing Fire Truck from Toronto Fire Station

According to a report from TheStar.com, a 28-year-old woman was arrested and remains in police custody after stealing a Toronto (Canada) Fire Services (TFS) fire apparatus and driving it through the city’s east side Thursday morning.

Police responded to a call around 4:45 a.m. for a report of a fire truck stolen from TFS Station 227, near Queen Street East and Woodbine Avenue.

The woman drove the truck for a short time before police were able to stop the vehicle.

Toronto police said charges are now pending. The theft does not seem to be related to any protest or convoy, and no one was injured during the incident.
