Rochester (NY) Firefighter Struck by Vehicle

A Rochester (NY) firefighter was struck by a vehicle while responding to a call Monday night.

WHEC reports that (http://bit.ly/1tEmd2x) the unidentified firefighter was on the scene of a smoke alarm activation and was removing equipment from an apparatus when he was struck by a passing vehicle. The Democrat & Chronicle reported that the driver left the scene.

He was taken to an area hospital with a leg injury.
