Report from Dan Kerrigan
Upper Providence Township (PA) Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel along with personnel from Collegeville Fire Company, Black Rock Fire Company, Royersford Fire Department, Trappe EMS, Lower Providence EMS, PennSTAR Aeromedical, Upper Providence Township Police, Pennsylvania State Police, and area Montgomery County and Chester County fire police handled a vehicle accident with entrapment on Route 422 W/B at Route 29 in Upper Providence Montgomery County.
One patient was extricated and airlifted to a trauma center. A second patient was transported by ground to a local hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. Route 422 was closed W/B at the Route 29 interchange to ensure scene safety during the incident. Pennsylvania State Police Troopers were investigating the accident.
