A firefighter in Missouri passed away after getting into an apparatus crash while en route to a fire scene, according to the U.S. Fire Administration.
On Friday, March 18, 2022, Firefighter Dustin Brandhorst, 35, of the Ebenezer (MO) Fire Protection District was responding to a structure fire in a water tender when the fire apparatus he was driving overturned. Firefighter Brandhorst was pronounced deceased at the scene.
