MD Firefighter Injured in Fall from Apparatus

A 20-year-old volunteer firefighter with the Chapel Oaks (MD) Volunteer Fire Department is in critical condition after falling from an engine that was responding to a house fire yesterday, according to news reports. The firefighter sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition after his tumble from the moving vehicle. His name is being withheld at his family’s request.
