Fire Truck Strikes Tree, Anderson County (KY) Firefighters Injured

A number of Anderson County (KY) firefighters were injured when the apparatus they were traveling in crashed into a tree last night.

According to WKYT, all the firefighters had been released from the hospital.

Residents reported hearing a loud crash around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. They reportedly saw a fire truck had slammed into a tree after traveling several dozen feet in a ditch along the roadway. One firefighter had to be extricated from the rig.
