The Bellevue, Neb., Volunteer Fire Department recently received two 1250-gpm pumpers from Smeal Fire Equipment. Built on Hendrickson custom chassis, the units are powered by Cummins NTCC 400 diesel engines with Allison HT-750 automatic transmissions. The pumper shown has a 2000-gallon tank and built-in foam system.

Logan International Airport in South Boston, Mass., recently received this Emergency One crash/fire/rescue unit. Built on a Pemfab chassis with a Detroit Diesel engine and Allison transmission, it has a Hale 1250-gpm midship pump, a 1000-gallon tank and a 330-gallon foam tank. The 55-foot Stratospear is equipped with a foam system.

The Bloomfield Volunteer Fire Department of Pell Lake, Wis., recently received a 2000-gallon tanker from Trailer and Tank Repair Service. Built on a Model 1800 International chassis, the tanker features a 10inch Newton dump valve and two 2 1/2-inch quarter-turn fill valves mounted on the top rear corners.

This mini-pumper was recently delivered to the East Palatka Volunteer Fire Department in Putnam County, Fla., by W. S. Darley. Built on a Dodge chassis, the unit features a Champion 350-gpm PTO pump, a 260-gallon water tank and high compartments on each side.

The Excelsior Springs, Mo., Fire Department recently took delivery of a Boardman 1000-gpm pumper. Mounted on a Ford C-8000 chassis, it is powered by a Caterpillar V-8 diesel coupled to an Allison MT-643 transmission. A Waterous CMWBX-1000 pump provides two-stage pumping.

Seagrave Fire Apparatus is introducing the Invader custom pumper rated at 1000, 1250 and 1500 gpm. It can be powered by either a 6-71N or 6-71T Detroit Diesel or a Cummins L-10 engine with an Allison MT-644 transmission. The pump is a Waterous CM series, two-stage midship pump. It also has a 500-gallon water tank.

The'Hobe Sound, Fla., Fire Department recently purchased this American LaFrance Commodore 1000-gpm pumper. Built on a Ford C-8000 chassis with a Caterpillar 3208 diesel engine, the unit features 5-inch front suction, two 2 1/2-inch rear outlets and a 750-gallon tank.

The Guilford Township Fire Department of Seville, Ohio, recently received a Pierce Suburban 1000 pumper. Mounted on a Ford C-8000 chassis, it is powered by a Caterpillar 3208 engine with an Allison MT-643 transmission. It has a Waterous 1000-gpm pump and a 750-gallon water tank.
