The Osage Beach (MO) Fire Protection District placed in service this LAKE ASSAULT BOATS fireboat that protects the busiest sections of Lake of the Ozarks which, at times, includes rough water and large waves.
Features/Equipment:
- 31 feet long with a V-hull and 10-foot, six-inch beam;
- draft of less than 18 inches with motors trimmed up, and 24 inches when trimmed down;
- twin 300-hp, four-stroke MERCURY outboards controlled through the Skyhook Digital Anchor and Joystick Piloting Systems;
- dive door on the port side as well as a fold down stair/ladder on the bow to aid in boarding and disembarking;
- DARLEY PSDE 1,500-gpm pump driven by a dedicated 6.0L V-8 gasoline engine;
- electronically controlled TFT Monsoon 1,500-gpm rooftop monitor;
- five-inch gated discharge on the forward deck to supply water to land-based apparatus;
- full-width and fully enclosed pilothouse with bench seating;
