The Cohasset (MN) Fire Department uses this DANKO rescue-style truck primarily for medical emergencies, explains Assistant Chief Kevin Tinquist. The truck is also used for fireground support, water rescue, and personnel transport during mutual aid.

The Mount Pleasant (SC) Fire Department has in service this fire/rescue boat designed by RESPONSE MARINE, INC. Firefighter Norm Allen explains that it will improve firefighting and rescue capability in coastal water surrounding the city which includes Charleston Harbor, Gray Bay, and Hamlin Sound.

The County of Vermillion River Fire Department, Kitscoty, Alberta, Canada, has in service two pumpers built by FORT GARRY FIRE TRUCKS, which it uses to protect a vast rural area, says Chief Orest Popil. The trucks have large water tanks for a strong initial fire attack until the arrival of tenders. They also feature a Crown Cab, which can transport additional crew while providing visibility of the fireground, protection from the elements, and serving as a rehab station.
