Apparatus Deliveries

The Sunnyside (WA) Fire Department uses this KME platform interchangeably as an engine or a truck. Chief Aaron Markham says that this is the department’s first aerial piece, and when staffing increases, it will reassess the platform’s primary function. The platform was chosen over an aerial ladder because it offers a more stable work area for firefighting and rescue as well as comfort during extended operations. It has a mount for a stokes basket on the roof.
