Apparatus Deliveries

>> The Tarpon Springs (FL) Fire Rescue Department replaced a 105-foot platform with this FERRARA aerial quint. Deputy Chief Dave Sharp explains that a smaller unit was needed to run as an advanced life support engine, an extrication unit, and an aerial. The shorter ladder was suitable because not many buildings are more than three stories high, and longer aerials are available through mutual aid.
