>> The Smyrna (TN) Fire Department purchased this MARION BODY WORKS mid-mount platform quint because of area growth which included multistoried hotels and a hospital. Chief Bill Culbertson says the department has two 65-foot telescoping waterway pumpers, and the platform is higher. It can be used as an engine company, hence the pump and water tank. It responds to motor vehicle accidents, hazmats, fires, and all types of rescues.
