· The Sheldon (VT) Fire Department‘s EMERGENCY ONE pumper/tanker replaces an aging pumper and a tanker. It allows the department to perform initial operations with a limited staff, according to Chief Bill Irish.

·The Westminster (MA) Fire EMS Rescue Department uses its AMERICAN LAFRANCE walk-in rescue truck for technical and other rescue work and EMS transport, says Chief Brenton W. MacAloney.

·The Elmont (NY) Fire District designed this RESCUE 1 walk-in rescue truck with rollup doors for getting equipment on tight streets, explains Former Chief Bob Mitarontonda. The design allows quick access to extrication tools from all sides of the vehicle.

·The Nettie (WV) Fire Department designed its PIERCE pumper with maneuverability and engine power to climb hills in the rural community, according to Secretary/Treasurer Steve Davis.
