TenCate Protective Fabrics is set to debut several new products and enhancements to existing product lines during the FDIC International 2015 Exhbition.
Introducing the S-Series from TenCate Protective Fabrics

Brand new S-Series versions of the TenCate Caldura® and Quantum™ thermal barriers are expected to bring even more excitement. Both of these thermal barriers feature face cloths that boast TenCate Coolderm™ Technology, helping to keep moisture away from firefighters’ skin and their comfort levels higher. When firefighters are cooler and drier, they can focus on the job at hand without worrying about moisture management. This means safer conditions while on the job.
Both Caldura® and Quantum™ provide a soft and slick experience for easy donning and doffing. And the two families of thermal barriers are strong, withstanding years of constant use.
TenCate Quantum4™ might be at the apex with its lightweight PBI G2™ aperture batting.
Finally TenCate Defender® M thermal barriers earn a spot in the S-Series catalog with their strong and soft fabric that’s been proven on the battlefield. Originally developed for the U.S. Military, TenCate adapted Defender® M fabric for Fire Service duty. Its camouflage pattern remains.
TenCate introduces two new colors in the Defender M arsenal: Brass and Graphite. These two new shades are a result of feedback from hundreds of active-duty firefighters who suggested that the traditional gold thermal barrier worked well, but they’d also like to see a darker option.

Earn Your 2015 Rhino Tough T-Shirt by Testing Your Strength
The S-Series from TenCate Protective Fabrics exhibits strength and softness. Firefighters can do the same.
After picking up a game card available from more than 20 booths in Indiana Convention Center Hall D, participants go on a kind of scavenger hunt to collect needed stickers from a variety of garment makers, fiber producers, and others who partner with TenCate Protective Fabrics.
Get all the stickers and then visit the TenCate Test Your Strength Powered By DuPont™ Kevlar® booth in the lobby of Hall D (also known as booth 17000). There, participants can see how hard they hit a punching bag or if they can ring the bell on a carnival striker 10 feet high. There’s even a version available for the littlest of firefighters.
After testing your strength, step on up to earn the 2015 edition of the Rhino Tough t-shirt. This year’s design features glow-in-the-dark highlights on the back of the shirt.
The Rhino Tough t-shirt has been among the most popular, got-to-see features at FDIC International. Firefighters have even taken previous Rhino Tough designs and had them tattooed on their arms.
Three Xbox One entertainment consoles will be given away as well, one for each day of the show. Details about the giveaway are on the game card. Prepare for the Impossible with TenCate Protective Fabrics
Any FDIC attendees with a social media account can be among the select few to earn a free limited edition poster showing off one of the impossible scenarios that will be featured in upcoming videos from TenCate Protective Fabrics.
“Prepare for the Impossible” highlights the innovative and remarkable features of textiles from TenCate Protective Fabrics. In the video vignettes, a firefighter is put in an impossible scenario.
Attendees at FDIC International 2015 may post to their social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, with a photo and the hashtag #Prepare4Impossible. It’s even better if participants include @TenCateFabrics. Then stop by either TenCate Protective Fabrics booth:

Show a TenCate representative a post with the #Prepare4Impossible hashtag and the attendee will receive a limited edition poster.
