HYDRATREK Amphibious Search & Rescue Vehicle on Display at FDIC 2011

The HYDRATREK amphibious Search & Rescue vehicle will be on display at FDIC 2011. HYDRATREK will be at booth #10070 in the Convention Center and Booth #14141 in the South Street exhibit area.

In essence, HYDRATREK is a unique, multi-purpose, amphibious vehicle for remote access solutions.  It can take people, equipment and other cargo into and out of areas that are otherwise inaccessible by a single land-based vehicle, including other ATVs, and boats.  Because of the HYDRATREK’s ability to traverse any variation of deep water, shallow water, and land without stopping, it is especially effective and useful in a flood situation.

The HYDRATREK is an extremely powerful, durable, commercial-grade piece of equipment that requires minimal maintenance.  It is a heavy-duty (welded aluminum; diesel engine), all-hydraulic (no chains, gear box or clutch) vehicle that will carry people and cargo over land of virtually any condition (rocks, slopes, mud/swamp, ice, snow, sand, vegetation, etc.) and through water (even deep water and rivers with current).

The HYDRATREK provides a very stable, multi-purpose platform that can be equipped/adapted for many different uses.  HYDRATREK offers medical transport and fire suppression options, as well as a rolling and floating trailer (RAFT) with a payload of 1,800 lbs. that can be pulled behind the HYDRATREK to transport additional people and/or cargo.
