Everyone agrees that simulations are essential to the future of Fire Service training. However, the cost, time, and resources involved in making or buying them prevent their widespread use.

With the new app, called “SimsUShare Mobile,” instructors can quickly compose sims from their own photos with CommandSim’s animated smoke, fire, and other hazards, directly on their Android mobile phone or tablet, and Windows/Macintosh computers. They can then use them in the classroom or in the field to help build command, strategy, tactics, and communication skills.

Starting April 16th, instructors with Android phones or tablets (including the Kindle Fire) can install the app within 2 minutes and start making scenarios, using the free, ad-supported “SimsUSareMobile Lite” version of the app, or by choosing the full version for $4.95. The Windows/Mac companion application is available for the introductory price of $14.95, or as a free trial version. The iPhone/iPad app will be available shortly.
