Rick Mosher has been a Firefighter for twenty-eight.years. He currently serves as a Fire Captain for the City of Olathe, Kansas Fire Department. He is a past coordinator for the recruit firefighter academy. He instructs for the recruit firefighter & acting engineer acadmey’s. He has been involved in fire apparatus design for twenty-five years. He currently serves on the fire apparatus design team. Rick has a passion for fire apparatus design and making fire apparatus functional on the fire ground. He is an active instructor with the Fools of Oz and Make The Move Training LLC. focusing on Engine Co. Operations. Rick holds an Associates of Arts degree in Fire Service Administration and a Bachelors of Arts in Management and Human Relations. Rick is an active member of the FOOLS of Oz, Kansas Fire Service Training Commission, and Olathe Firefighters Relief Association, and Olathe Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 2542.

Gold standard fire steams are easiest to develop from gold standard pump panels. This Webcast will examine pump panel layout and some considerations that may impact your fireground operations. We'll review what's behind the panel implications for flow and pressure readings, sensor locations, and intuitive layouts, among other things. The goal is to set your pump operator up for success before you arrive on scene, and ultimately produce better field operations and outcomes.
