Starting my 44th year in a volunteer fire department in upstate NY served as Chief, Assistant Chief, Line Officer, and Commissioner of the Fire District, nationally certified fire instructor, pro-board certified fire investigator, currently the Director of Public Safety for Rensselaer County New York. I have a passion to train our new and upcoming firefighters.

I have been a student of firefighting for 30 years and enjoyed passing experiences and knowledge onto the future of the Fire Service. I began as a Fire Explorer instructor and then continued on to run certified IFSAC-Pro Board and State Fire Training Cadres, Cal Fire Hiring Academies, Colleges Fire Academies, and Curriculum Development teams in California. I strive to create realistic training environments that are safe and repeatable. I have spent time building and designing props and Live Fire Training Structures. I look to continue my "Relentless Passion for Firefighter Safety."
