FDIC International 2024: Clarion Cares

During Thursday’s Opening Ceremony at FDIC, Clarion Executive Vice President Eric Schlett and Group Vice President Lauren Ocoma made a presentation on behalf of Clarion Cares.

“Two years ago, FDIC’s management organization, Clarion Events, launched Clarion Cares. This initiative aims to support organizations that align with our core values and allow us to give back to the communities that have supported our events throughout the years.

“Last year, FDIC hosted four Ukrainian firefighters for a unique hands-on training experience. This program not only provided them with valuable skills and knowledge but also fostered connections and raised awareness about the challenges they face in their daily lives. We were truly touched by the generosity of our vendors who donated gear and equipment valued at over $1.2 million to support their efforts.

“This year, we are thrilled to support the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to supporting first responders and public safety organizations by providing life-saving equipment, prevention education, scholarships, and disaster relief. With over 83 million dollars granted nationwide, their impact is profound.

“If you’d like to donate or know a department in need, please encourage them to learn more and apply for a grant online at Firehousesubsfoundation.org.  If you choose to donate please designate your donation in the drop-down to FDIC so it can go directly to firefighters in need. “On behalf of the entire FDIC community, it is our pleasure to present Tina Corson from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation with a check for $10,000 to support their efforts.”
