FDNY Responds to Five-Alarm Fire in Queens; Several Injured

Firefighters with the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) responded Wednesday to a massive fire in Queens that left several people injured.

Crews responded around noon to the call at 43-09 47th Ave in the Sunnyside section of the borough.

Units were met with heavy fire conditions and the response quickly escalated to five alarms. The fire left 14 people injured, including one firefighter.
