Much love and respect for our global wildland brothers and sisters out there fighting record-breaking heat and widespread fires, as well as to all the local fire departments assisting their efforts. I can’t imagine it—I’ve never had to fight that fight on that scale. And though I hope the wildfire season here in the U.S. and Canada is beginning to wind down, I fear it’s nowhere near ending and only a bad sign of fire seasons to come. Did I say…much love and respect?!
