Two-Alarm Fire at FL Assisted Living Facility Damages 40 Units

According to a report from ABCActionNews, multiple fire companies are now investigating a fire on the fourth floor of the Regency Oaks assisted living facility in Clearwater, Florida. All residents of the facility made it out to safety.

Clearwater Fire and Rescue (CFR) extinguished the fire at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. Crews are now working to determine the amount of damage and remove the smoke from the building.

Forty units suffered fire, smoke, or water damage. The CFR said the Red Cross is now attempting to find housing for affected residents.
