An explosion and fire Saturday afternoon at a marina in Seneca, Illinois, injured at more than a dozen people, according to reports.
The incident occurred May 28, 2022, at the Spring Brook Marina. According to FOX News, a boat with 17 people on board caught fire, sending 13 to the hospital.
According to ABC Chicago, the vessel was apparently having engine problems and went to the marina to refuel. After refueling, those on board tried to restart the engine when there was an explosion.
