Four Dead, Including Two Children, After Hot Springs (AR) House Fire

According to a report from KARK, the identities of four people, including two children, ages 2 and 4, who died in a tragic house fire on Friday were released by deputies in Garland County, Arkansas.

According to the Garland County Sheriff’s Office, fire crews were called to the home just outside of Hot Springs in the 100 block of Echols Drive at around 10 a.m. On arrival, firefighters found the home fully engulfed in flames.

At around 5:30 p.m. Friday, ASP investigators identified the victims as 31-year-old Kenneth V. Ingram, 29-year-old Kayle M. Arriaga, and her children: two-year-old Mattie Cummins and four-year-old Wesley Cummins.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but deputies said the investigators with the Arkansas State Police were leading the investigation into the blaze. The state medical examiner is working to determine the cause of the fatalities.

Multiple agencies responded to the incident, including the Morning Starr, Lake Hamilton, and Fountain Lake Fire Departments.
