CAL FIRE Unit Rolls Over Responding to Fire in Auburn (CA)



According to a report from FOX40, a CAL FIRE vehicle rolled over Thursday night while responding to a “spot fire” in Auburn, California.

According to Cal Fire NEU, the engine crashed on Mount Vernon Road as it was heading to the fire on Buffalo Road. The cause of the crash is unknown. 

CA FIRE officials did not indicate how many firefighters were involved in the crash or the extent of any injuries, but they transported to a nearby hospital. 

The engine is now being removed from service and being sent to a facility as part of the crash investigation.
