The Rochester (MN) Fire Department placed in service this PIERCE platform. The truck is a multiuse vehicle that responds to fire and emergency medical services calls. It is also the first delivery from Pierce that features Idle Reduction Technology, which allows the user to shut down the diesel engine at idling times, allowing the batteries to operate the vehicle’s systems for a period of time, thereby reducing emissions.

- Command Zone electrical system;
- 100-foot heavy-duty platform with two AKRON Stream Master electric monitors;
