Fire photographer Rick McClure shared some photos of firefighters working to control the Getty Fire, one of several significant wildfires burning in the state in October 2019.
The fire burned a number of homes in Los Angeles on Monday, prompting thousands of people to flee, among them celebrities Arnold Schwarzenegger and LeBron James.
Firefighters were also working to contain the Kincade Fire, burning in the state’s wine country in the north, among others.
