The Redlands (CA) Fire Department runs this BOISE MOBILE EQUIPMENT paramedic unit as a light rescue and support unit as well, says Battalion Chef Jim Topoleski. In addition to medical calls, it responds to fire calls, vehicular accidents, and rescues.

  • FORD F-550 chassis with 165-inch wheelbase and six-seat cab;
  • INTERNATIONAL 6.4L 325-hp diesel engine with FORD automatic transmission;
  • MEDTRONIC Life-Pak 12;

  • forcible entry tools, ice chests, rope rescue equipment, and tow chain; and

The Concordia (MO) Fire Department uses this fire quick attack unit built by WEIS FIRE & SAFETY EQUIPMENT COMPANY to protect a mostly rural district that includes farms and dirt roads, explains Chief Mark Tolias. The department also covers the Ralph and Martha Perry Memorial Conservation Area and 11 miles of Interstate 70.

The Perth Amboy (NJ) Fire Department uses this METALCRAFT MARINE fireboat to protect an industrial waterfront and marina on the Arthur Kill waterway. Deputy Chief William J. Barcheski says the department took into account the projected development of the waterway as well. The boat is also available for response into the Raritan River and along shorelines within Middlesex County.
