San Diego Haz-Hat Team
A hazardous materials response team, which includes a certified chemist, has been formed by the San Diego Fire Department. The chemist will identify and dispose of potentially hazardous materials.
The unit will take initial action at incidents, and is intended to guide fire fighters in handling haz-mat accidents.
