Message System Installed
A computer-based audio message system is being installed in the Seattle, Washington Fire Department. The system, furnished by Eagle Signal Corporation, will facilitate dispatch of fire and emergency medical service vehicles. It will also provide audio and digital communications between the fire alarm center and each of Seattle’s fire stations. The equipment facilitates dispatches of fire and medical service vehicles by minimizing the number of steps required from the dispatcher.
