APPARATUS DELIVERIES
The Albertson, NY, Fire Department has accepted delivery of a Pemfab/Emergency One custom pumper, built on a heavy-duty Pemfab Model/Series, Maxi T-942A fire chassis. The Pemfab Trucks chassis is powered with a Detroit Diesel 350-hp, 6V92 Silver Series engine and has an Allison HT-741 transmission.
The pump is a Hale Model LF 1,250-gpm with a booster capacity of 500 gallons.

The Kent, WA, Fire Department has received a Lance Custom Pumper with a 10-man style enclosed crew cab and raised roof from Pierce Manufacturing Inc. Normally designed to seat 10 men, the crew cab was modified to include a 750-pound capacity gurney lifting device on the driver’s side crew door opening.
Mounted on a 205-inch wheelbase Pierce Lance chassis, the unit is powered by a Detroit 8V92T engine with an Allison HT-740 automatic transmission. It is equipped with a 1,500-gpm CSUYBX Waterous pump, a 500-gallon tank, a Feecon foam “around-thepump” system, and a stainless steel 40-gallon foam tank.

The City of St. Paul, MN, has placed in service two new resue squads built by Custom Fire Apparatus. They are mounted on Ford L-9000 chassis and feature a “full response crew cab.”
Each is a combination pumper-rescue. The crew cab integrates the pump, which is a Waterous CMYBX 1,000 gpm.
The rescue unit is powered by a Detroit 671T diesel engine with Allison MT-644 automatic transmission. It has a 1,250-gallon foam system and carries 500 gallons of water.
