>> The Tenth District Volunteer Fire Department, Marbury, Maryland, uses this RESPONSE MARINE fire rescue boat to serve the lower Potomac River Basin and the Port Tobacco River. It is kept on a trailer because the station lies between both rivers. It provides fire and rescue service for pleasure boaters, a few sand and oil barges, and waterfront homes where it can supply water, says Chief Daniel Hudson. Two large marinas and a boat storage facility are in the jurisdiction.

  • light and power with KOHLER 7.5-kw gasoline driven generator, eight HAVIS floodlights (four telescoping at rear of cabin, and two each fixed midship and at front of cabin), and two GOLIGHTS at front of cabin roof.

  • HURST rescue tools with hydraulic reel;
  • two HANNAY reels (one each low-pressure air and electric cord);
  • PHILLIPS Heartstream AED; and
  • light and power with LIMA 40-kw pto generator, SVI Command Light, four FRC scene lights (side and rear), and eight WHELEN fixed scene lights.
