Midwest Fire Names New Vice President and General Manager

Midwest Fire

Midwest Fire announced two new promotions from within the company. Former Purchasing Manager and Sales Consultant Kraig Scholten has been promoted to Vice President and Project Manager and Brett Jensen has been promoted from Sales Consultant to Vice President and General Manager.

Scholten has been with the company for six years. His promotion is the result of a newly created position in which he will be the main point of contact guiding customers through the production timeline. From the point of purchase to the time of delivery and follow up, Scholten will work directly with the fire department on any change orders. Prior to this position, sales team members would work with the department from start to finish.

“I started in an entry level position and worked my way up to purchasing and sales,” said Scholten. “Coming in at the ground level allowed me to learn the entire process of how fire apparatus are built and what is involved. The opportunity to work my way up the ladder has best prepared me for this new position by giving me a broader understanding of the entire process.”

Jensen has been with the company for almost 21 years and has worked in multiple departments and held numerous roles. He has experience on the production floor in the shop and also has experience as production manager, office manager and sales consultant. As the General Manager, Jensen will concentrate on leading the sales team, managing warranties and servicing customers on the phone with any questions.

“Scholten and Jensen are essential members of our team and hold a lot of responsibilities,” said Chief Executive Officer Sarah Atchison. “Both men have proven themselves and are trusted by our customers. We are proud to promote from within and thank them for their hard work and dedication to the customers and company success over the past several years,” said Atchison.
