The Northeastern States Fire Consortium is asking every Fire Organization, Fire Chief, Company Fire Officer and Firefighter to do the following:
- Download this letter and send it to your U.S. Senators and Congressional Representative.
- Request that they make an inquiry concerning the letter as to what action the President proposes or what action Secretary Tom Ridge Department of Homeland Security recommends.
- Notify them that Senator Hillary Clinton is making inquiries about this letter and the staff person in Senator Clinton’s Washington D.C. Office, who is handling this matter, is Ms. Leecia Roberta Eve, Council.
Now is the time to act. Without Federal Funding, local Fire Departments cannot prepare for the next terrorist attack.
